Viewpoint of Nossa Senhora do Socorro "Aveleira" on EN108 to Km 87,712 located at 293 meters of altitude built in granite with steps on both sides. It is located on a platform superior to the EN 108, and has recently been restored. Displays an inscription on white tiles (27 tiles) with blue letters and yellow shading: JAE / MIRADOURO / SOCORRAM LADY. From here you can see the Douro River, São Tomé de Covelas on the right, and Santa Marinha do Zêzere and Frende, on the left. In front you can see the municipality of Resende. Attached to the identification panel, and to beat the quota, there is a small fountain flanked by 2 rubbish bins.
