The church of Santa Marinha do Zêzere is today the result of several architectural renovations combining also several decorative grammars.
It stands out for the pipe organ of the end of the thirteenth century that integrates into a much later box, decorated in painted and gilded carving.
Having removed the baroque altarpiece, which is now in the Chapel of the House of Guimarães, we have the altarpiece of the holy mothers in gilded joanine carving with an exuberant auction in polychrome woodwork and the national style altarpiece of the Chapel of Our Lady of Fatima.
The ceiling lining that displays the date of 1750 is decorated in double frame caskets displaying flowerbills at the angles that surround the center panels painted with scenes of the Virgin, flanked by panels bearing Marian symbols and hagiographic panels with the inscription of the saints.
Also noteworthy for the chapel of the Baptistery, covered in false vault of cradle, painted with representations of the baptism of Christ.
