The Eça de Queiroz Foundation is a non-profit institution dedicated not only to the dissemination of the work of Eça de Queiroz and to the preservation of the museum component of Tormes (center of "The City and the Mountains") but also to the production of the multi-awarded Verde de Tormes , a wine, guaranteed Eça, "fresh, smart, seivoso, and having more soul, entering more into the soul, than much poem or holy book".
