Baião City Council created an area for parking and supplying motorhomes, located close to the Baião Multipurpose Pavilion and the Baião Municipal Swimming Pool.
This space has the capacity to accommodate three motorhomes at the same time and provides water supply, wastewater collection by flushing the motorhome's sewage container (cassette) and a light point.
To complement the offer, Baião City Council also provides the sanitary and changing facilities at the Multipurpose Pavilion and the Municipal Swimming Pool.
For the Tourism councilor of Baião City Council, Anabela Cardoso, this new space “constitutes a response for citizens who use motorhomes and travel in itinerant tourism, being a complement to the tourist and accommodation offer in our municipality, and is expected, in the short term, its extension to other parts of the municipality, at a time when it is no longer possible for these vehicles to park in places that are not specific for that purpose”.
The motorhome parking area was built by the City Council's direct administration teams.
