The educational and cultural aspect is one of the first objectives of the Eça de Queiroz Foundation.
This house, today, constitutes an important Museological Nucleus referring to the life and work of the writer, since it houses all the estate that belonged to him.
In addition to contributing to the preservation and dissemination of the memory of one of the greatest masters of the Portuguese language and literature and of his work, recognized nationally and internationally, this Foundation intends, above all, to make available its heritage for the cultural and formative elevation of the Portuguese in general , and of the young generations in particular. Thus, one of the main projects that have been developed is the program of guided tours, not only to the curious, tourists, and groups of nature or cultural motivation, but especially to students of our schools.
